– The main question that needs to be asked before studying the topic is why an effective leader is needed? – says Peter. – He inspires people to develop. Leaders with unshakable moral and ethical values lead the best companies. They control her vision, lead the team.

Working with an ineffective leader is a problem that can lead to organizational chaos and complete collapse of the organization.

At the human level, an ineffective leader demoralizes and demotivates and, in the end, reduces productivity and the ability to achieve goals.

While the importance of effective leadership is undeniable, we must ask ourselves – what does this mean?

What are the most important qualities of an effective leader? Can anyone learn how to become an effective leader, and if so, how?

The participants of the master class learned about the differences between the concept of “leader” and “manager”, tried to understand whether it is possible to become a leader without innate leadership qualities, and also heard advice on how to become a more effective leader.

The participants of the meeting, together with the speakers, learned about sistem approach to the community resilience concept.

Looking for answers to questions: what is between a resilient and non-resilient community, what are the consequences of natural disasters (for example, a pandemic) for sustainable development, cultural heritage and how it impacts on strengthening the resilience of communities.

The master class participants were presented new skills and knowledge how to address community resilience issues.

The trainers spoke about the community resilience concept while teaching more about cultural heritage perspective and how to apply it in strengthening community resilience to struggle various crisis such pandemics, natural disasters, economic crisis, etc.

The master class enabled the EENCE members to apply innovative tools and adapt new approaches to educate responsible citizens in their communities.

During the lecture, Anastasia told about the online cases of the Interra project. Among them are live broadcasts on Instagram, VK, google meets in order to stay in touch with project participants and friends of Interra, share news, as well as the TEDx conference, which had to be moved from offline to online.

– What experience have we learned from conducting online events? As in offline, people need pauses; online events should be shorter in time than similar offline ones; thematic collaborations and partnerships work well – Anastasia Mokrushina said.

The speaker gave advice on how to conduct online trainings, and told about long-term online programs that require a special approach.

At the webinar, participants shared their experience in organizing online educational events, and were also able to practice using interactive tools to engage the audience and get feedback.

At the end of the master class, the students together, using an interactive whiteboard, compiled a checklist “How to make an online event comfortable for themselves and for the participants”.

This approach will help you feel more confident when transferring work to online, will increase the motivation to try something and implement it into your activities.
