The contest attracted thirty-one promising project ideas.

A “public vote” narrowed down the selection to eleven finalists who made open presentations to a jury that assessed the winners based on their relevance to the Eastern Partnership region, adherence to EENCE’s priorities, and the innovative nature of the ideas.

Winners of the competition have now been granted the chance to apply for funding from the Federal Agency of Civic Education and the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Who are the winners?

The project entails the creation and testing of an online course that explores the potential of utilizing artificial intelligence by civic educators to analyze data, plan, automate processes, and distribute information.

The objective of the initiative is to enhance the resource capacity and align the core principles of EENCE associates by consolidating and advancing their civic education schemes in the Eastern Partnership nations.

The undertaking will necessitate the establishment of a digital database that delivers an interactive guide/map of the citizenship education programs in the Eastern Partnership regions. The platform will enable users to access and study any program of their interest. Additionally, educational materials will be developed explicitly for citizenship education.

The goal of this project is to reconsider the historical recollection and factual occurrences of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict in order to generate guidelines for citizenship educators when working with younger individuals.

Specialists from various nations will participate in both online and in-person consultations to discuss various components relating to the project topic and to draft recommendations for educators.

The aim of this project is to improve media literacy amongst adults in the Eastern Partnership region and equip them with strategies to combat misleading information by producing podcasts.

The authors of podcasts will be experts from Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, and possibly other countries of the region.

The aim of this initiative is to enhance the competence of citizenship instructors in advocating and actualizing the principles of human rights, by surpassing the “Sovietness” influence on their pedagogy.

The plan entails devising a web-based program expounding the implementation of a human rights-based modality in teaching, alongside establishing a group of educators from diverse nations who integrate this approach in their practices.

The objective of this project is to equip students with the skills necessary to streangthen democracy and monitor their government’s actions through the utilization of information and communication technologies.

As part of the project, an ICT training module will be crafted, alongside training sessions designed for students, teachers, and youth organization activists to enhance their skills.
