EENCE Working Groups: getting ready to get started
Some 10 working groups on a wide range of aspects of citizenship education could start work within EENCE.
Resilience for citizenship educators and citizenship education systems, youth work, media literacy and counter-propaganda, citizenship education in hostile environments (authoritarianism and totalitarianism) are just a few of the topics announced in a recent call for Working Group initiators.
A full list of the announced Working Groups and an invitation to join their work will be published soon on the Network’s website.
Working Groups are one of the main formats of EENCE’s work. Network activists in international Working Groups discuss issues important for the promotion of citizenship education, conduct research, develop courses, manuals and recommendations, make joint actions, etc.
At least 6-8 such Working Groups operate within the Network every year. Many ‘products’ of their activities can be found on our website in the Resources section.
