NECE Festival 2025: HOPE – the registration is open!
After two successful and highly engaging festivals in Madrid and Tirana, the NECE Festival this year is taking place from 2 – 4 September in Oslo, Norway, in cooperation with the European Wergeland Centre (EWC). It will once again bring together over 200 educators, activists, policymakers, and business and cultural practitioners from Europe and beyond to exchange ideas, engage in critical dialogue, and explore innovative methods for strengthening democratic resilience.
Themed on HOPE, we will be exploring how we can harness the power of collective hope to drive resilient, ethical, and sustainable transformation in our communities. You are welcome to read more about this year’s theme here. For updates about the festival and its programme, check our festival page and social media channels periodically.
This year promises an exciting lineup of speakers, including internationally renowned activists like Jon Alexander (the author of CITIZENS), Phoebe Tickell (Imagination Activist, Founder of Moral Imaginations), and Thomas Coombes (Founder of Hope-based communication). The festival will also feature art performances and cultural activities, masterclasses, networking opportunities, and a chance to co-create the conversation through an open space session, where you can bring your own questions, ideas, and experiences into the heart of the festival, enriching the event’s impact on participants, fostering a deeper connection to the theme of HOPE, and providing a true and comprehensive festival experience.
