What citizenship competencies are needed to get out of the crisis?
How can we be responsible citizens, focused on civic engagement and sustainable development during and after the crisis? How can teachers, trainers, professionals working with citizenship education in formal and informal contexts support their beneficiaries in developing competencies for active citizenship?
These and other questions will be answered and discussed on October 10 at 16.00 within the framework of the Citizenship Education Week, when project, implemented within the Eastern European Network of Civic Education (EENCE), “Citizenship Competencies for Sustainable Development during crisis time in Eastern Partnership countries and Russia” will be presented.
During the online presentation, the concept and results of the project will be presented, as well as a discussion will be facilitated addressing the citizenship competencies needed to overcome the crisis and transform communities into peaceful and sustainable societies.

The project “Citizenship Competencies for Sustainable Development during crisis time in Eastern Partnership countries and Russia” is implemented by members of EENCE working groups “Research in the field of Civic Education” and “Mainstreaming SGDs in Citizenship Education and Fostering 2030 Agenda” and supported by the Federal Agency for Civic Education (Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung) with funds from the Federal Foreign Office.
