Vitaly Nikonovich: we want to focus on creating simple, understandable and useful media products
This year, within the framework of EENCE, there are 11 Working Groups focused on various aspects of civic education. We are starting a series of publications that will tell you what these groups will do.
The head of the Pedagogical Design for Civic Education group was the first to respond to the request to tell about this Vitaly Nikonovich (Belarus). Here ‘s what he says about the group’s plans:
– In 2022, we want to focus on creating simple, understandable and useful media products that would allow us to spread among a wide range of educators some concepts, approaches and methods that are used in pedagogical design and would be useful for the development of civic education programs.
For example, to tell about the ADDIE model, Bloom’s taxonomy, the formulation of educational tasks according to SMART and other important aspects of pedagogical design.
In addition to distributing media products to the community of educators, we plan to fill with them the online course “Pedagogical Design in Civic Education”, developed by our group in 2021 and hosted on the EENCE platform.
And we are planning to divide the course itself into simpler three parts: the study of the target audience; curriculum development, and the evaluation of learning outcomes.
The initial meeting of the Working Group was held at the end of May.
