What is a human rights-based approach? Let’s explore with the help of the cards
Experts of EENCE prepared visual notes that describe the human rights-based approach and its five main principles. Those visual notes also explain how the approach can be applied in educational activities.
The materials were prepared on the basis of 6 webinars for educators from the Eastern Partnership countries and a separate training for Ukrainian educators held in September-November this year.
We invite you to share them!
The materials were prepared within the framework of the project “Promoting human rights values through the introduction of a human rights-based approach in civic education curricula”, organised by the consortium of experts EENCE – Eastern European Network for Citizenship Education, funded by the Federal Agency for Civic Education (Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung / bpb) with funds allocated by the Federal Foreign Office of Germany, programme “Expanding Cooperation with Civil Society in the Eastern Partnership Countries and Russia”. The project is implemented by the NGO “Democratic Initiatives Incubator” (Ukraine).
