Sign the new EENCE Memorandum and promote democracy with us
Contributing to the sustainable development of civil society in the Eastern Partnership region and neighbouring countries through expanding the sphere of citizenship education and strengthening the potential of organisations and experts working in this field. This is the mission of our Network, as stated in the new version of the EENCE Memorandum.
The decision to prepare a new version of the Memorandum was taken during the General Meeting of the Network members held in October 2023 in Georgia.
In addition to describing the main areas of activity, the Memorandum also sets out the basic values and principles on which the Network’s work is based.
Among them are respect for the territorial integrity of states as defined by international law, condemnation of military aggression of one country against another, including the Russian military aggression against Ukraine, refusal to cooperate with governments, organisations/entities and individuals under EU sanctions for violation of international law.
The Memorandum is open to be signed by experts, representatives of civil society and state institutions, research institutes, media, national and international organisations, etc., who share our goals and are ready to cooperate in implementing the priorities of activities stated in this Memorandum.
The signing of the Memorandum is an application for membership and entry to the EENCE Network.
The new version of the Memorandum was drafted by the Working Group established after the General Meeting, which included members of the Coordination Council and other activists of the Network.
