Implementation of Eduthon winners’ projects started in Ukraine and Georgia
In Ukraine, teenagers were taught how to stay safe in the forest and how to help people with special needs, while Georgia was the subject of a project on media literacy at school.
The project “Safe Forest without Barriers” was launched in Volyn (Ukraine). The project will describe the eco-route of the Vorotnovsky Reserve in Braille and create an audio guide along the route.
There will also be training sessions for young people on the basics of communicating with people with disabilities and safety rules for staying in the forest in war conditions.
The project “Media Literacy in My School” was launched in Georgia. Thanks to this project, schoolchildren will acquire important knowledge and skills related to critical thinking, identifying fakes and creating media content.
The EENCE-Eduthon-2024 is organised by the Eastern European Association for Citizenship Education with the support of the Federal Agency for Civic Education (bpb) at the expense of the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
