Civic Competencies for sustainable development in times of crisis in the Eastern Partnership Countries and Russia
This is the name of the project, which this year is jointly implemented by the participants of two Network Working Groups: “Research in the field of civic education” and “Integrating sustainable development goals (SDGs) into Civic Education and promoting the 2030 Agenda”.
The Project aims to increase the potential of Target Groups to introduce and promote Civic Education and related SDGs in the context of the current crisis in our region.
On May 11, took place the first online meeting of the Project Participants, at which were discussed ideas and needs related to the implementation of the Project.
Now project participants are planning a discussion of the methodology for conducting research in this area, preparing a collection of cases and best practices in Civic Education for the implementation of the SDGs, developing a Training Program in the field of using the SDGs as a tool for Civic Initiatives. It also discusses the possibility of developing an online course on Civic Competencies needed to help achieve sustainable development goals.
