Online course “Pedagogical design in civil Education”
EENCE invites interested specialists from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova, Russia and Ukraine to take part in the online course “Pedagogical Design in Civil Education”!
The training will take place from October 5 to November 9, 2021.
The working language of the course is Russian.
The training is free of charge.
Following the results of the training, graduates will receive an international electronic certificate in Russian and English.
The purpose of the online course is to help increase the potential of teachers, teachers, methodologists, trainers and facilitators in the development of innovative high-quality training programs in the field of civic education based on technologies and principles of pedagogical design.
The following services will be used in the training process:
– Zoom, where weekly discussions of theoretical materials will take place and the results of the workshops will be presented;
– Moodle, where theoretical text and video materials of the course will be available for study, as well as instructions for performing workshops;
– Telegram, where daily communication will take place as part of the course.
Training plan:
Introductory round table “Understanding of pedagogical design in civil education” (Tuesday, 5.10.2021, 18.30-20.00 time in Kiev).
The main theses of the discussions:
– What is civic education and why is it needed;
– What is pedagogical design and how it can help;
– Discussion of examples of successful and unsuccessful practices of civic education.
Meeting / module 1: The peculiarity of the role of the pedagogical designer in the design of the curriculum (Tuesday, 12.10.2021, 18.30-20.00 time in Kiev).
The main theses of the module:
– What is training and how do people learn;
– The difference between the role of a pedagogical designer and a teacher, methodologist, coach;
– The process of pedagogical design based on the IDDE model.
Meeting / module 2: Formulation of training tasks for the civil education program (Tuesday, 19.10.2021, 18.30-20.00 time in Kiev).
The main theses of the module:
– What results can the curriculum achieve in the field of civic education;
– How to write training tasks: the approaches of B. Bloom, R. Meiger, R. Gagne;
– Which target group do I work with in civil education?
Meeting / Module 3: Frontal analysis (Tuesday, 26.10.2021, 18.30-20.00 time in Kiev).
The main theses of the module:
– What is a frontal analysis and why is it needed;
– Technology for studying the needs of the target group?
– How to make an online survey and conduct a focus group in an online format with your target audience and process the data obtained.
Meeting / module 4: Design and development of the curriculum (Tuesday, 2.11.2021, 18.30-20.00 time in Kiev).
The main theses of the module:
– How to develop the design of the curriculum plan and select the content for its implementation;
– How to correlate educational tasks, practical tasks and methods of testing knowledge and what does reverse design have to do with it;
– How to choose the format and methods of work to ensure.
Final round table “How to help our target groups develop civic competencies” (preliminary, Tuesday, 9.11.2021, 18.30-20.00 time in Kiev)
The main theses of the discussions:
– What are civil competencies and why is human behavior important in them;
– Presentation and discussion of preliminary research results of target groups conducted by participants and participants during the online course;
– Discussion of further cooperation between graduates and graduates of the online course within the EENCE network.
Participants during and after the course will be able to:
– take part in the study of the theoretical foundations of pedagogical design in an international team of participants and experts;
– to test in practice the models used in pedagogical design;
– conduct a study of the target groups of their civic education programs to determine the reasons for the “gap” in their desired and real behavior and formulate a hypothesis about the most effective methods of reducing the identified “gap”;
– get an international certificate (36 academic hours) on pedagogical design in Russian and English;
– join the EENCE Network for Civic Education in Eastern Europe and continue working in the field of civic education.
