EENCE Network organized introduction meeting for “Newcomers”
New members of the Network from Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine were acknowledged to the history of EENCE, working formats and opportunities Network provides for its members.
Coordination Board members gave small web-site “tour”.
The most interesting part of the meeting was presentation of new Network members.
Projects in the field of democratic education for youth, citizenship education and media literacy for elder people, promotion of media literacy among various target groups, support of the forced migrants – this is only small part of new members’ activity.
Meeting participants were welcomed by Svetlana Alenitskaya, representative of the Federal Agency for Citizenship Education, Germany (bpb.de).
She underlined that EENCE was the unique network which continues its activity in the region engulfed in full scare war and number of other conflicts. EENCE unites experts and non-governmental organizations, promoting democratic values.
You are treasure trove of the ideas and plans! We get rich because of working together with you! – said Svetlana.
In the nearest future new Network members will get opportunity to join organization if the Caravan of Citizenship Education as well as participate in other EENCE events.
