Georgian youth have learnt about the EENCE Impact Podcast project
Georgian youth have learnt about the Impact Podcast project and can now create podcasts on educational topics.
Thanks to Manon Bokuchava, journalist and national coordinator of the EENCE Impact Podcast project in Georgia, Georgian teenagers learnt October 8 how to counteract manipulative media influences and how to create podcasts.
The weekend in Martkofi village of Gardabani municipality was both useful and instructive for ten teenagers.
The author of the project, Ukrainian journalist Serhij Shturkhetskyy, was able to communicate with the children via video link, and Manon Bokuchava’s competent narration helped the participants understand the nuances of propaganda and the technical basics of podcast creation.
The Kvemo Kartuli Media NGO was a partner in organising the educational seminar of the Impact Podcast in Georgia.
The project is implemented by the Independent Media Trade Union of Ukraine within the framework of the East European Network for Citizenship Education (EENCE) Ideas Contest for Citizenship Education with the support of the Federal Agency for Citizenship Education (bpb) with funds from the German Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
