Azar Ramazanov: find tools for orientation in digital conflicts
To provide teachers with the knowledge and skills necessary to solve digital problems, such as the information war and its consequences for civil society – this is how the goal of the Working Group “Promoting change-oriented citizenship education” describes Its head is Azar Ramazanov (Azerbaijan).
Team members will focus on the project “The role of citizenship education and educators in the context of digital conflicts and
information war”.
The target group of the project will be teachers on citizenship issues from the Eastern Partnership countries and Russia.
The project is expected to involve participants from the EENCE network and other participants.
The group plans to organize
– series of debates with experts on the topics of current challenges for citizenship education in the context of information war, rising topics, changing roles and competencies of educators;
– series of workshops/master classes on the instruments to act and to react as educators scenarios where their target groups face digital conflicts, information overload and manipulation, hate speech, etc.;
– create and disseminate materials for educators with good practices and methodologies in the field of addressing current digital challenges such as information war and its consequences for civil society (based on the experience from the countries of the Eastern Partnership and Russia).
