The civic education interactive non-formal courses provided schools’ students of upper classes the knowledge on fundamental concepts of democratic citizenship, civic participation and human rights and shared the meaning and histories of creation of the international days to celebrate globally such as: International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women (25 November); International Day of women human right defenders (29 November); World Aids Day (1 December); International Day of Persons with Disabilities (3 December); International Volunteer Day (5 December); International Anti-Corruption Day (9 December); Human Rights Day (10 December).
Moreover, project participants prepared for the contest the informative and educational material such as: essays, posters, pictures, videos, which served as a message boxes for the local communities who skeptically stays in the position of a blind when they are witnessing the facts of violence against women and/or other types of human rights violations.
To raise awareness of the local youth on the important international days of the “16 Days of Activism” campaign and promote popularization of the human rights knowledge among the local community.
