Citizenship education remains one of the key tools for promoting democratic values. To help educators from different countries use this tool more effectively—by sharing best practices—EENCE continues the work of the University of Citizenship Education.
Across the Eastern Partnership countries, many informational and training programs are being implemented in various aspects of citizenship education: social entrepreneurship and innovation; youth, creativity, activism, and volunteering; pedagogical design; work with marginalized groups; history and human rights; women in local communities, and more.
However, finding information about these projects and programs can sometimes be very difficult.
That’s why we created a platform that offers opportunities to explore the experiences of successful projects and programs, find partners, and develop professional skills.
Our digital catalog is structured by region, target audience, and topic, and provides a way to contact organizers of various projects and programs for knowledge exchange.
In order to enhance sustainability of civil society in the Eastern Europe with an improved operational environment and amplified linkages to civic education the EENCE Summit 2019 was held in Batumi, Georgia on October 4-6, 2019.
