Expected results of the Program

Citizen+ is a political education project that realises online courses, podcasts, webinars, training (for trainers), and study trips for young people. All our digital material and offers are provided for free.

The project aims to promote media literacy and knowledge of democracy, human rights, civil society, and it aims to foster youth empowerment and participation. We strive to strengthen local initiatives and build a long-lasting translocal network of trainers.

On the Citizen+ online platform (citizen-plus.com) 3 online courses and podcasts on democracy basics, conspiracy theories and disinformation, and Ukrainian history are available. Recorded webinars, training for multipliers, essay competitions and open calls for study trips are published on the platform.

We are based in Berlin and Kyiv. The project is funded by the Federal Foreign Office of Germany in the framework of the Eastern Partnership program.

Expected results of the Program

The project aims to build a translocal network for media literacy and political education, it aims to foster youth empowerment and participation.
